Union Standard offers a summer internship program to qualified college and university students at home office and branch locations. Internships are full-time, paid positions that run from June through mid-August. Interns serve in a variety of departments including underwriting, claims, audit, finance, marketing and loss control.
Two times during the summer, interns from all locations meet at the home office in Irving. During the first trip interns meet in person and are assigned to project teams. Project work takes place throughout the internship period via phone and email, then all the teams reassemble in Irving in August to present their findings and recommendations to Union Standard management.
Students applying for internships should be currently enrolled at any accredited university and have earned at least 50 credits toward graduation. Deadline for resume submissions is May 1 each year. Please send a current résumé and cover letter to:
